The disaster caused by Hurricane Katrina has left many families devastated. As we have all seen in the various news reports, tragically, many people in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi have lost loved ones or cannot locate various family members. Many others have lost homes and everything they owned. They are unsure about when they may be allowed to return to the area to rebuild their lives. Thousands of evacuees are being housed in various cities throughout the area.

As a Company, we have been fortunate and blessed through the years. Because we have so much to be grateful for, we believe helping our fellow Americans during this tragedy is a small return of this blessing. Although we are not able to truly comfort those who lost loved ones, we can help them and many others try to rebuild their lives.

On behalf of all our employees, the Company donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to aid the families affected by Hurricane Katrina. "It's always been in keeping with the philosophy of this company to give seeds of hope to others. We've harvested so many blessings for so many years that the timing is right to help to give some hope to the victims of the Katrina disaster." - James Avery, CEO and Chairman of the Board.
