Got this in November and it has been falling apart ever since. :(
Upon first wearing, the leather bracelet stretched to the point where it was turning around and around on my wrist. Then, upon 2nd wearing, the loop that the bronze "button" goes into began to unravel. It's a mess and I've worn it only 1-2 times at most. It was pretty but not worth the $100 price tag, certainly. Very disappointed, I would think a bracelet from a supposedly reputable company that cost $100 would be a bit more durable than 1-2 times worth of wearing. Call me bummed. :(
- We're sorry to hear this! Leather will naturally stretch and wear over time, especially when exposed to elements like water. If you take your bracelet to your local James Avery store they can see what we might be able to do! - James Avery Team
HOW TO CREATE THIS LOOK
When I received the bracelet, it came with NO instructions. I haven't got a clue how to make it look like the picture on this page without taking the bracelet entirely apart. If you have any instructions, please send them to me at the
e-mail address I have given below. As I am 76 years old, I will need "STEP-BY-STEP" instructions. Thank You...I will rate you when I can see it on my wrist.
- Hi George, this bracelet should have been sent to you as seen in the photo. If your bracelet is different, please take it to your local James Avery store or call our customer service at 800-283-1770. - James Avery Team
Loved it while it lasted
My husband and I have matching infinity tattoos so when I saw this while browsing in a local James Avery store I knew it was meant to be. I bought it for my husband for Christmas In 2017. He absolutely loved it. The leather is soft and beautiful and the infinity piece is perfectly made. He wore it every single day, only taking it off to shower and sleep. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be made for daily wear like that. Within 6 to 8 months all of the leather straps had broken and all that he had left was the infinity piece. He still has it but unfortunately he can’t show it off anymore.
- Hi Sonya, we're sorry to hear this! Leather will naturally wear down over time, but please take the bronze piece to your local James Avery store or call our customer service at 800-283-1770 to see what we might be able to do! - James Avery Team
I bought it for my husband yesterday. He loves it, he wore it out of the store.
Gift from a dear friend
I am so charmed by the sentiment of the gift. Folks considering it should know a couple of things about it though. First, the description of "soft leather" is not quite accurate. The leather is OK, but not what I would call particularly soft. The infinity charm is so heavy that it is often around the inside of my wrist. And the button is way too thick making for a lump that you feel when your wrist is against anything. I am a big James Avery fan and will keep this due to the sentimental value, but I think it is not well designed for actual regular wear.
