A Great Gold Cross
So a little back story. My Grandfather came to live with us in Dec. 2000. He was diagnosed with cancer in Jan. 2008 and passed on May 2008. I was given his wedding ring shortly after after his death. I had taken the ring in to have it cleaned and came up with an idea to change its appearance. So I went to a jewelry store & they agreed to melt the ring and make a cross out of it. The ring had 5 diamonds chips that were also saved and added to the cross. I had his name engraved on the back. Since I wasn't going to wear the ring as a ring I thought that this would work better and be something I could wear all the time. One year later I took my cross back in to the jewelry store to have it worked on for the last time. I had gotten a Gold Hammered cross from James Avery Craftsman and had mine added to it along with 8 diamonds and his name on back for a truly one of a kind memory keepsake. Thank You James Avery! In Memory of William Sherard my Grandfather.
I have been searching for a cross just like this in gold. I went to Italy hoping to find one and didn't and to my surprise an American company came through in a big way! Love this cross- great weight and a perfect stand out piece to represent my faith. Thank you!
This is one of the first pieces I bought from James Avery. The silver is heavy and the cross looks beautiful with the hammered hook-on neck wire. Love it!!!
One of my favorite James Avery pieces. So beautiful in person. I wear mine on a black leather James Avery necklace sometimes and on a silver necklace at other times. I get compliments EVERY time that I wear it. Simple, but bold.
This simple, hammered cross is just beautiful. It goes with everything and looks good with jeans or dressy dress. I get compliments on it every time I wear it.
I purchased this cross to wear on the hammered neck collar. They really look nice together and I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear it! Nice heavy silver...
