It’s so cute because I LOVE dolphins, but this charm had ruined so many sweaters and ripped a giant hole in my bedding comforter. It snags on everything. Next time I’m in Texas I have to get it removed and I’ll put it on a necklace.
- Hi Alice, we're sorry to hear you're not completely satisfied with this charm! We'll be sure to pass along your feedback. - James Avery Team
I live this charm because it was given to me four years ago at my baby shower. But it snags and catches on every thing. I had to take it back to JA and have them file down the tail fin part.
Not for bracelets
This charm is great on a necklace, but on a bracelet it catches on everything. It ripped apart the lace cuff on one my favorite shirt and it catches on my sweaters. Adorable, but I don't recommend it on charm bracelets.
A beautiful Gift
My husband got this for me as a "random I love you gift " lol and I love it. He and I are expecting our first child at the end of the month and I think this is a very fitting charm to express how loved our daughter already is. :)
I received this charm as a birthday gift from my mom. I love it so much! Not only was it a reminder of a mother and child bond, but also a memory of a trip we took to Cancun when I was a child and swam with dolphins. Everything is perfect about this charm, but it does tend to get stuck on things once in a while. Yes, this charm is on a charm bracelet and I'm still giving it 5 stars for the amazing details and meaning!
I bought it for my daughter as her first James Avery she was so exited its absolutely amazing she loves it and whets it every day
Mama and Baby
My Husband bought me this when my son turned 6 months old and to mark 6 months of exclusively breastfeeding. Every time I look at this charm I am reminded of how much he loves and values the special bond between us.
I received this charm as a gift and have had it for almost a year now, I love it and never take it off (it's the only charm on my charm bracelet) Although in time I noticed it was constantly getting stuck on things. It would get stuck in my hair, on my backpack, on the hem of my shirts, even on the bracelets I had on why other wrist. The tail s and fins of the dolphins were getting hooked to these things. I am a clumsy person so one day when I fell, the fin cut me when I caught myself on the floor (It stabbed me) It's also scratched, but that's just normal wear 'n tear. Overall I love this ring though, it's beautiful!
THE MOST SPECIAL MEANING
my mom bought me this charm because it reflects her meaning between the both of us!!! we are very close and we will share everything will each other forever!!!
it's a perfect meaning for any mother and daughter!!!
A Sweet Reminder
When I began my charm bracelet I decided it would be a reflection of my daughter amd me and things that remind me of her. I purchased this after her second visit to our local aquarium and realized that she loved the dolphin exhibit the most. We have since been there many more times and we sit together in the observation deck looking through the glass wall under the dolphin tank watching the dolphins play. It's smooth and very detailed. I love it!
Best Dolphin Charm
I search for a dolphin charm with detail, high-quality craftsmenship and guarantee behind it and chose this one. Now 13 years later, it's just as beautiful!
I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter and have decided to start a mother and daughter charm bracelet that I can one day pass on to her. The first charm I purchased for this was the Mother and baby dolphin and I love it! Not only does it represent mother and child, but for us, it represents our love of going to our local aquarium together. My daughter's favorite exhibit is the dolphins. We usually sit in the underwater theatre and snuggle as we watch the dolphins play. I want to remember that FOREVER!
Worst Charm Ever
I would have to say its the worst charm ever because, I get stuck everywhere with this charm on clothing, furniture, etc.!!! and for that result it has been bent already, but trust me all the other charms are better, but this one is horrible :(
