I Love This Charm But...
I've had the same issues everyone else has had. I got the charm for Christmas and the first week I had it the hinges got loose and I had to exchange it. A couple months later I opened up my bracelet (I wore it the day before), I noticed that the egg was gone! I never touch the egg so I don't recall it being loose. I don't remember doing anything rough that would have caused it to fall out. If I'm about to do something that I think might damage my bracelet I'll take it off. I'm honestly upset because it's such a beautiful and cute charm. This was one of those charms that I REALLY wanted. I was wondering if I should exchange it? Or any other suggestions?

Egg fell out
I see that I'm not the only one whose egg fell out! I just tried to exchange this charm for one with the egg, but the sales lady (with an attitude) told me that I would have to pay half of what I already paid for it to get it repaired. NOT doing that. I am extremely disappointed in James Avery to say the least! She told me that charms get banged around and they can't help it if something happens to one of their charms that are fragile. Are you kidding me? Why would you make a charm that is fragile which is to be worn exactly like it is intended only to tell customers they have to pay to have it replaced after it falls apart? (I only wear this bracelet maybe once a month.) Furthermore, with the prices you charge, they should NOT be falling apart. That charm is not a quality product and I should not have to pay again for something that is clearly defective. And given all of these poor reviews, obviously you know this charm is defective! This is very poor customer service and completely unacceptable given the premium customers pay for your jewelry. I have a lot of JA jewelry, but I will definitely think twice before buying anything from you again. Another quality issue...Apparently, you have perfected the "it's not our fault" mentality as a couple of years ago I had one of your bangle bracelets that hooked together with a couple of charms. The hook came apart and I lost the charms. When I took it in, the lady told me that yes, the hook comes apart. If you know that, why would you sell someone charms for that bracelet? Again, not good customer service or quality.
Beautiful, but buyer beware...
I looked at this charm on line for several months before I bought it. When I finally made it to a store (I was overseas previously), I bought it straight away. While in the store the egg fell out, but the clerk assured me this was not usual, fixed it (I assume), annis soldered it on. Not long after, the egg fell out again and I had to send it to Kerrville to be repaired. Well, here we are again and the egg had fallen out again. Problem this time is that I'm back overseas. Customer service says my only option is to send it back to be repaired... again. Now, I will have to cut it off my bracelet andplay for international shipping to send it back. Further, they don't ship internationally, so someone in my family is going to have to pay to send it back to me over here. After reading here that others are having problems, I'm a bit angry that I paid over $100 for a poorly designed charm that is going to end up costing me even more if I want to have a charm that actually has a little egg in it.

I got the charm last year as a gift after I had my son. The bird had gotten really loose as well as the egg but I’m a stay at home mom so it didn’t concern me much since my bracelet doesn’t get “banged up”.
A week ago the egg fell out and I was upset but I took everything (charm and egg) to my local James Avery and they replaced the charm at no cost for me! To my surprise they soldered the egg on from the bottom! I didn’t ask them to but it was a very smart move! If you really want this charm, ask them to do this and you should have no problem with the egg falling out!
Not worth the price :(
I purchased this charm and was super excited the hindges became loose immediately and the eggs is loose i went to go exchange it at a James Avery store i didn’t have my receipt since i threw it away not thinking i would have this problem i went to the James Avery store at South Park mall in San Antonio and immediately the manager said i couldn’t exchange it i was so upset he made me send it to Kerville to have it fixed i didn’t want it fixed i didn’t want the same charm again i hate going thru this hassle i just wanted to get a different charm since i know it will get loose again and the hinges are loose as well

Beautiful Charm But...
I really really love this charm. It’s absolutely beautiful but I’ve already had to return it once because the hinge on it loosens and it just flops around after it gets to that point. When I was swapping it out we opened multiple packages of them and a few brand new in the package were basically the same way. I chose one that had a tighter hinge but I’ve already started noticing it’s loosened since I got the new one. They’ve assured me if it happens again I can return it again but I wish it was better quality especially for the pricing.

Egg fell off mine too, i think For a charm that is more than $100 this should not be happening, im upset :/

Nesting Egg Fail
This charm gets zero stars! I bought this charm for my mom on mother’s day when the car first showed it to me the egg was loose on th inside so I asked to switch it out before I bought it. She was hesitant but did it anyway. I asked her if the egg fell out could I return it She assures me it would not. Well my mom called and says the egg fell out. I am now being told in order to replace it I have to pay for half the charm but I already paid for full price for something that was not well made at all. Ridiculous. I love James Avery and spent a lot of money there but for $115 this little egg should stay on for a long long time

Well to my surprise I was able to keep the charm. I love it so much I couldn’t part with it. The egg is a little loose but I’m assured that if it ended up coming out I can return it for another charm. So far so good. It is a great buy and I get lots of compliments on it. So I hope my update review will help. More reason I couldn’t part from it was cause my mother who passed away loved birds and I’m trying to collect all the bird they have. Thank you
Love it, but.......
I really loved that charm but unfortunately I’ve had to return it four times. The first two times the egg fell out and the last two was the egg became loose and was afraid I’d loose the egg again. So that’s why it led me to get a whole another charm. I’m hoping that if it’s a major issue on this charm where customers have to return it cause of the egg I’m hoping that they can fix it better. I hope so cause I do and want to buy this charm again. I hate that I had to return it.
My favorite but dissapointed
My husband bought me this charm 4 months ago & it really was my favorite I love the birds I even have the bird ring & earrings, but I realized the little blue egg fell off, I noticed the charm became really wobbly after I had the bracelet cleaned at the James Avery store & now the blue egg that represented my son is gone..
