Reminiscent of a retired Avery pendant from the 1970's, this sterling silver charm was inspired by a Texas Hill Country native - the prickly pear cactus. This fascinating plant that we dare not touch, but admire from afar, can now be kept close at hand on a charm bracelet, charm necklace or chain.

    Poorly Designed

This charm is beautiful indeed but poorly attached it broke off I was just left with a pear from the cactus and the hoops the cactus itself and the flower broke off. I really liked it but that happened sadly. The picture shows what I was left with

    Broke off

I had this charm attached to my charm bracelet and it broke off out of nothing! I just was left with the hoop and a little pear from the cactus! Poorly attached and it made me so sad because it is such a beautiful design!

    Love the Details

I received this charm as a Christmas gift from my sweet husband who has taken a job in Phoenix. I visited AZ for the first time last November. Loved seeing all the various cacti. We visited the Dessert Botanical Garden in Phoenix and I drank some prickly pear tea at the café there. It was tasty & I made a point to purchase some at the gift shop. So since my husband knew about my newly acquired fondness for the Prickly Pear cactus, this was such a thoughtful gift. It is a good size charm. I’d call it a medium and it pairs/layers well with the smaller Saguaro, which I think is fitting! Very nice detail. He purchased it from the Scottsdale James Avery location, which seems right! He will be working out of Phoenix for a few years, so I have my eye on some of the other cactus charms. They are all beautiful.

    One of my favorites!

This charm is so cute! I love the detail, and the simplicity of this beautiful charm. It looks perfect next to my Deep in the Heart of Texas charm, it looks perfect on my bracelet. If you love planta or especially succulent, and Cactaceae species you'll love this charm!

    My new favorite

I fell in love with the prickly pear plant on a recent visit to the batanical gardends in Henderson, NV. So I was surprised to see this JA charm and had to have it.

    Nature at its best!

I fell in love with this charm the minute I saw it. It’s a sweet reminder of nature’s beauty. I paired it with a green enhancer and it’s just perfect!
