Tarnished, copper turns gray
Gorgeous charm, very unique. Only issue is that the copper part is gray and if I take it in it stays nice for only about a week. Would like to know how to clean at home to wear it more often.
- Hi Morgan, copper will naturally react to elements in its environment and change color, but our Simichrome Polish will help get it back to its original color. You can pick up our Simichrome Polish online or at your local James Avery! - James Avery Team
The charm is beautiful on display. However, on the very first day of wear, the copper tarnished ugly. It is not worth the price and i would not recommend it.
- Hi Yanni, copper will naturally react to various elements and oxidize when in certain environments or when it comes in contact with certain chemicals. If you take your charm into your local James Avery store they will be able to give you a complimentary cleaning. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback! - James Avery Team
After spending 4 weeks waiting on backorder for this adorable charm, I was a little disappointed when it finally arrived. The copper color which was what I loved in the first place, shows signs of tarnish. It is not as saturated and clear as the image found here, in the case at the store and in the catalog. It is still very pretty and I am glad that I own it but I do wish that it was as well made as my other JA pieces.
I just purchased this and placed it on my bracelet. The beautiful color of the copper makes this charm stand out from the rest.
Off to neverland!!
My boyfriend got me this to add to my bracelet because Peter Pan is my all time favorite movie and it's the kiss Peter gives to Wendy. He also received the thimble charm from myself because that's the kiss Wendy gives to Peter. I love sharing this with him and this charm is beautiful!
This charm is beautifully crafted. I love the copper that makes it look more realistic. Wonderful addition to my fall bracelet.
My favorite so far!
I used some birthday money to add this little charm to my bracelet and I'm so glad I did. It's already my favorite one! It's just so beautifully done and I love the copper element. I chose this one also for the symbolism. Aside from the obvious symbol of Autumn which is fitting for my November birthday, acorns have long been a symbol of strength, potential, power, protection and good luck. They've also been used as a talisman of eternal youth, which I thought fitting for my 40th birthday!
This is just a wonderful little acorn charm, love the two tone. I can wear it on either my gold or silver hook on bracelets. This little charm just makes me think of falling leaves and beautiful fall colors
