- Bring the items you wish to return in new, unused, and unaltered condition with a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Our Associates will assist you with your return. If you're making an exchange, they can ensure your fit and size.
Please Note: Returns and Exchanges for James Avery products purchased at a James Avery retail store are not accepted at Dillard’s, Von Maur, Airport Locations (i.e., stores located inside airport terminals) or Army and Air Force Exchange Service locations. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Step 2
Be Sure to Include the Filled-Out Returns Form or Proof of Purchase with your Package

Step 3
Create a Return Label Using Our Returns Portal Create a Return Label
Print & Affix the created Return Label, As Well As the "Return Label ID" Located on the Front of the Packing Slip, to the Outside of Your Package.

Step 4
Ship Your Package Using the Options Available on the Label Instructions. Please Allow Up to 10 Business Days From Delivery for Processing.

We want every piece you choose from James Avery to be just right. If you need to make an exchange, we’re happy to help.
Items purchased directly from James Avery may be exchanged within 365 days of the purchase date, as long as they are in new, unused, and unaltered condition. Please bring your receipt or proof of purchase to any James Avery retail store for a smooth exchange experience.

Purchases made through authorized retailers such as Dillard’s, Von Maur, AAFES, or airport locations can also be exchanged or returned at James Avery stores. These must be in new condition and accompanied by a valid receipt.

You have options for exchanging:
- Exchange in one of our James Avery retail stores where a James Avery Associate can ensure your fit and selection.

The return is processed within 10 days of receipt. Refund to your credit card is dependent on bank rules and may take additional time.
Items being returned must be received with a receipt on or before the 365th day since purchase.
Gifts can be returned within 365 days for a James Avery Gift Card.
In-Store
Visit your local james avery location nearest you and an associate will be happy to assist you in your return or gift.
By Mail
To return a gift, you can follow the normal return process (add hyperlink to take them to the top of the page to the “How to Process a Return”).
Package your insured items and enclose your name, address, daytime phone number and email address in the package. The mailing address depends on the shipping service you use.

Avery Handbag Warranty
We offer a one-year warranty on our handbags and small leather goods for manufacturing defects only. Bring your damaged handbag to your nearest store or create a FREE return label (see steps below) to ship your bag directly to us for assessment. We will replace the handbag if inventory is in stock. If not, we’ll provide a James Avery gift card for the full amount of the handbag to be used in any James Avery store or at JamesAvery.com.
