I never really knew what this charm actually meant until now. It may not apply to me based on my situation but I feel like it has helped me cope with my pain. A few days ago, I received this charm from my husband after having a miscarriage. My husband thought it was the perfect charm for me .. I cried when I got it, it was absolutely perfect. Reading the words born in my heart gave me comfort. I have it on me everywhere I go, and it reminds me that my angel was still born in my heart.
Still born baby
I’m not an adopted parent but this charm is wonderful my daughter was a still born. And this charm was the best thing I could find to buy her name and birthday was didn’t make it to earth but she will always be in my heart.
I am an adoptee and also a lover of James Avery. I’ve been building my bracelet and I try to pick charms that are super personal to me. I saw this one and was instantly in love. I’ve lost both of my adoptive parents and I have charms to represent them both. They gave me a framed poem years ago and this charm sums it up. Thanks James Avery for making charms for every detail of life!
More beautiful than the picture
I have a step daughter that is 4 and I love her like my own. I've been looking for a charm to represent her for years with no luck. nothing screamed at me....and then this showed up in the catalog....Hi God, nice to see you too lol.
I am getting this for my 8 year old step daughter. I have been in her life since she was 2. We got custody after mom lost it. I potty trained her, do all her homework with her and teach her right from wrong. It should say step parent as well. Some of us are the best thing that happened to our step kids.
As thoughtful this is it's awesome, but what about a charm for birthmoms?
Beautiful to my heart and soul
I am not an adoption family, we do not have children together, but my 3 yr old granddaughter well technically my step - granddaughter (I hate the word step) will be as closest as I will every have for a daughter. I adore her like I have never loved before and when this charm came out it brought tears to my eyes because that is how I feel for her we've raised her part time since she was 4 month old...she was born from my heart she has made me feel how it feels to be a mother and to love a child like a mother does.
I decided to wear it as a pendant so it would be close to my heart and attached a color bead to represent her birth month. I am one very happy part-time mom/grandmother.
I am so excited to get this lovely charm for my bracelet. My precious angel was born in my heart and then grown in the belly of her birth mother. Thank you JA for creating this elegant reminder of my gift from God!
Thank you, James Avery!
Each year on adoption day, we give our daughter a charm for her bracelet that represents something meaningful that occurred that year. I am so excited to see that there if finally a charm honoring adoptive families. Thank you!
very touching thought for a charm
That's such a beautiful charm especially for an adoption family like us thank you!
I received this as a gift from dear friends today. I had never seen it before. I cried upon opening it as I sat holding our one-week-old adopted son!
So happy to finally see this
We purchased bracelets for our daughters 12th birthdays and they get a new charm for birthdays or Christmas. We have been anxiously looking for one like this. Thank you!
Been waiting on a JA adoption charm for years!! Glad you finally have one specific to adoption! Thank you!
So excited to see this charm for us adoptive mother's out there! I tell my two babies this all the time now, you were born in my heart...beautiful pendant.
My sister adopted 8 children, first 3 sisters and a brother and did an amazing job in giving them love and support and watch them grow in to wonderful young adults...then 10 years later she adopted 3 brothers and a sister and is doing a great job with them. Our family has grown so much and we love them all. This new charm expresses the heart warning feeling of a family. I will definitely be picking one up for my Sis :)
My daughter is adopted and each year on the adoptiin anniversary we get a new charm. I don't think I can wait until our next one to get this charm. I love it, it conveys our story perfectly. I only wish they had for the day of our adoption. It will be a wonderful gift for adoptive mothers and daughters for years to come. Being a mom through adoption is such a special honor and unique challenge. I pray that all the moms out there who open theirhearts and birth children will know how special that are.
