This charm was for my sons girlfriend. It was the cutest charm I had seen for her. Then when it arrived, I was even more excited to give it to her. It is so dainty but well made. Its so cute. You did it again,, Thanks JA for making the best jewlery.

Perfect for Mortician!!!
I appreciate this so much. A lot of people forget about the last responders and that’s us Morticians. I really love this charm.

Pristine
The Caduceus is the symbol of Medicine if you’re a physician with 20 or more years experience. The Rod of Asclepius is foreign to me, It’s mythology. This caduceus is lovely. Hermes and Mercury for me! Cheers.

Wrong symbol
I was given this charm as a gift from a friend when I entered medical school. However, the anonymous poster is correct - the caduceus is not the symbol of medicine but actually is associated with the Olympian god Hermes, representing trade and commerce (which is not what medicine should be about)! The correct symbol for healing and medicine is the rod of Asclepius, which has one snake and no wings. While I cherish this gift from my friend and the quality of the charm itself is good, I had to deduct stars because the symbol is incorrect.

THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL SYMBOL. THIS IS A MISCONCEPT
This symbol is often confused this symbol is a Greek staff not a medical symbol do not buy this for medical people it'll tee them off

Love it for me...also a great gift idea.
I am an EMT/ex-Army Medic traveling down the long road to becoming a surgeon. I bought this charm to remind me every day when I look in the mirror what all this hard work is for. I get complements on it all the time, especially from those in the medical field. Great gift to motivate someone studying to get into the medical field or who already works within it. Love it!
