• Why is the number of stores that will carry handbags limited?

  We are limiting the number of stores that will carry these handbags because each piece is crafted by artisans, making it unique. These handbags will be available on JamesAvery.com with free standard shipping.

• Will Dillard’s/Von Maur/AAFES/airport locations carry the collaboration?

  Other authorized retailers will not carry handbag collaboration designs, but will carry jewelry.

• Will James Avery honor their military, first responder or clergy discounts on Consuela items?

  Yes, we are pleased to honor military, first responder and clergy discounts on Consuela items in store—eligible individuals can enjoy these savings by verifying their status according to our program guidelines found here. Please note: Consuela stores will not be honoring James Avery’s military, first responder or clergy discounts.

• Will James Avery be honoring Consuela’s discounts?

  No, we cannot accept Consuela discounts, promo codes or coupons at James Avery retail locations, or on JamesAvery.com—including teacher or refer-a-friend discounts.

• How should I clean and care for my handbag?

  We do not have an answer to this question at this time.

• What do I do if a collaboration item I want to purchase is out of stock?

  We’re sorry, we are currently not able to place backorders. We recommend checking back on our website or visiting your local store for more information regarding availability. You can also stay up to date on new designs, upcoming events and more by signing up for email and text notifications.

  Yes, you may return or exchange your item(s) in new, unused and unaltered condition—with proof of purchase—within 365 days to any of our James Avery store locations. Or, you may return your item(s) by mail using our free returns shipping label. For more information see our Return Policy.

  Please note: James Avery is only able to accept Consuela items that are part of our official collaboration, so we are unable to accept Consuela items outside of that selection. We apologize for the inconvenience.

• Consuela crafts their items in Mexico; why is this considered a Texas brand?

  Consuela is considered a Texas brand because its founder, headquarters and brand culture are based in Texas, even though its products are crafted in Mexico through longstanding, meaningful partnerships with Mexican artisans.

• Is there an end date for the collaboration?

  There is currently no set end date for the collaboration. This is a new collaboration, and we look forward to working together for the foreseeable future.

• Will James Avery offer handbag repair services?

  James Avery will not offer handbag repair services.
